
February 7, 2025 – With the theme, “Seeds of Sustainability: Cultivating a Greener Future”, the Bacolod Environment and Natural Resources Office (BENRO) led the inauguration of its greenhouse project at Brgy. Felisa, Bacolod City.
Present during the inauguration were Councilor and Committee on Environment and Ecology Head Kalaw Puentevella, BENRO Head Ma. Fe Trespuentes, and VP of Dungganon Bank, Inc. Raymond Serios.
Dungganon Bank, Inc. is a subsidiary of Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. (NWTF) with the 1 Million Trees Campaign that aims to make the city greener and sustainable.
The Greenhouse Project of BENRO, together with the NWTF will serve its purpose of housing endemic tree seedlings for the city’s future tree-planting activities.
