๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™˜๐™ค๐™ก๐™ค๐™™ ๐˜พ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ฎ, ๐˜ฟ๐™š๐™˜๐™š๐™ข๐™—๐™š๐™ง 6, 2023–In response to the recent bombing incident at Mindanao State University (MSU), Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has intensified its security measures, following a command directive from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Bacolod City Mayor Albee B. Benitez. The directive calls for a heightened degree of alertness, readiness, and preparedness to address potential security threats.

Under the leadership of PCOL Noel C. Aliรฑo, City Director, BCPO swiftly took action by convening a Coordination Meeting at BCPO Patnubay Hall, Magsaysay Avenue, Barangay Singcang-Airport. The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), PNP, and Muslim leaders.

Among the notable attendees were BGEN Orlando D. Edralin, PA 303rd Brigade Commander, and prominent Muslim community leaders, led by Amin Sultan of the Salaam Police Advisory Group (SPAG). The agenda centered on discussing proactive measures in light of the MSU bombing incident that occurred inside the campus in Marawi City on December 3, 2023.

During the session, participants engaged in a dialogue to address potential security threats and explored collaborative efforts to strengthen partnerships in combating terrorism and other forms of crime and violence in Bacolod City.
