Bacolod City – In response to the Command Directive issued by the PNP and City Mayor Albee B Benitez, the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is enhancing its alertness, readiness, and preparedness for the “Bacolod City Ligtas Paskuhan 2023” in alignment with intensified security measures and the Anti-Criminality Campaign.
Under the directive, PCOL Noel C Aliño, the Chief of Police of BCPO, has mandated all commanders of police stations within BCPO to elevate police visibility and establish standby points in their respective jurisdictions.
As part of the comprehensive security strategy, PCOL Aliño launched the “Ligtas Paskuhan B-PAD” (Bacolod City Police Public Assistance Desk), recognized as one of BCPO’s Best Practices.
The “B-PAD” initiative involves the placement of Public Assistance Desks in churches holding Simbang Gabi across Bacolod City. These B-PADs are equipped to promptly respond to calls for service and address crime incidents.
This is a proactive approach by BCPO, aiming to extend its reach into the community and ensure that police services are easily accessible to the public.
BCPO remains steadfast in its commitment to providing a secure and accessible environment for Bacolod City residents throughout the festive season.
