The 2021 Green Banner Seal of Compliance Award was merited to Bacolod City Nutrition Committee during the Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony (RNAC) last November 23, 2022 at Diversion 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, IloIlo City.

Present during the RNAC are; Department of Interior and Local Government City Director Ma. Joy Maredith Madayag, City Nutrition Action Officer Dr. Rosalie Gelisanga-Deocampo, City Nutrition Program Coordinator Lora Clarin, City Health Office Nutritionist Dietician III Myrrah Lei Unson, City Population Office – Ms. Mary Ann Alisbo, and Barangay Nutrition Scholar President Miles Ferraris.

Also, Sum-ag Barangay Nutrition Committee Members with Barangay Captain Rodney Carmona, Kagawad Dominador Bergaño and all other members who in their own little ways have made a difference in the nutrition of the children in Bacolod City.

Furthermore, Ma. Christine Eder of Barangay Sum-ag was recognized as the 2021 City Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar.

RNAC is an annual recognition to local government units and nutrition workers that excelled in managing and implementing nutrition programs.
