Mayor Albee Benitez recently convened a courtesy call with athletes and DepEd officials in the Division of Bacolod City this April 29, 2024, at the Bacolod City Government Center main lobby to recognized the recent win of Bacolod City during the Provincial Meet and also to prepare for the upcoming Regional Meet scheduled on May 2-8, 2024.

The event was highlighted by a ceremonial photo session and the presentation of plaques to Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez. Celebrating a remarkable achievements, Bacolod athletes emerged as champions in both the Elementary and Secondary levels during the Provincial Meet. Additionally, they secured the 3rd place in the categories of the Cleanest, Greenest, and Eco-Friendliest Delegation, as well as Best Disciplined Delegation. To cap off their outstanding performance, Bacolod was hailed the Overall Champion in the Palarong Panlalawigan.

The call was attended by Councilor Vladimir Gonzalez, Special Assistant to the City Mayor, Engr. Mae Cuaycong, and Mr. Gabby Concepcion.
