May 22, 2025 – The city fired up its grills and sweetened the celebration with the launch of the Chicken Inasal Festival Grill Fest and Countdown held alongside Bongbong’s 2nd Piaya Festival at The Upper East by Megaworld today.

Joining the festivities were Councilors Jason Villarosa and Celia Flor, together with Tourism Officer Teresa Manalili, as guests enjoyed the sights, sounds, and flavors of Bacolod’s beloved chicken inasal and signature piaya.

The event marks the exciting lead-up to the full festival, celebrating Bacolod’s rich culinary culture.
