March 14, 2025 – The Bacolod City Nutrition Committee held its first quarter meeting today at the SP Session Hall, Bacolod City Government Center.

The meeting was presided by the City Nutrition Program Coordinator Lora Clarin wherein numerous sectors sectors attended such as the DSSD, Liga ng mga Barangay, DRRMO, CPDO, Gawad Kalinga, Sangguniang Kabataan, CCLDO, DSWD, and PIO, among many others.

Numerous agenda were discussed during the meeting such as the updating of LNAP 2026-2028, MELLPI PRO, and update on Nutrition PPAs.

Additionally, Ms. Clarin, together with Councilor Celia Flor, introduced the BCGC Breastfeeding and Lactation Room which was made possible by Resolution No. 168 s. 2025. The mentioned room will officially open on March 25 in line with the Women’s Month celebration and is located at the 3rd Floor of BCGC beside the UBSD office.

The Resolution No. 941 s. 2024 was also presented which commends and congratulates Ms. Lora Clarin for being awarded as the 2023 Outstanding City Nutrition Program Coordinator in the region by the National Nutrition Council.
