October 6, 2024 – Bacolod City participated in the Lakad Iwas Droga: The CADCob Walk for a Cause 2024, a community-driven initiative aimed at raising awareness about drug prevention. Organized by the City Anti-Drug Council of Bacolod (CADCob), the event drew participants from various sectors, including local government units, youth groups, schools, and private organizations. Present in the event are Councilors Pao Sy and Israel Salanga together with PBGen. Primitivo Tabujara.
Participants marched through the city, showcasing their dedication to promoting a drug-free community. The program also featured a Zumba dance session, encouraging participants to stay healthy and active while reinforcing the importance of a drug-free lifestyle. As the city continues to combat the challenges of substance abuse, this event served as a unifying step towards a brighter, safer future for its citizens.
