Bacolod City – The Two-Day Refresher on Firefighting Strategies and Techniques, with a special focus on Modern Fire Dynamics, unfolded successfully last weekend at PAGCOR, L’Fisher Chalet, and Bacolod Old Airport in Bacolod City.
Organized by the Bacolod City Fire Station under the leadership of Fire Chief Inspector Stephen G. Jardeleza, supported by the Local Government of Bacolod, spearheaded by Mayor Albee Benitez. Councilor Pao Sy and PAGCOR played vital roles in ensuring the success of this invaluable gathering.
Collaborating with various organizations such as the DRRMO Bacolod City, Amity Volunteer Fire Brigade, Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade, Philippine Red Cross, Mountain TIGERS, CFAG Taculing, CFAG Handumanan, and CFAG Estefania, the initiative aimed to enhance the skills, knowledge, and readiness of the city’s firefighters. The collective goal is to better protect and serve our communities through a more adept and informed approach to firefighting.
The comprehensive sessions delved into Modern Fire Dynamics, providing firefighters with the latest strategies and techniques to handle contemporary fire challenges. With the diligent collaboration of multiple stakeholders, this refresher course is a testament to the city’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its residents.
