Bacolod City DRRMO celebrates National Disaster Resilience Month 2023 with a 3-day seminar themed “Philippine National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 and early warning systems: 101” on July 12-14 at the BCGC Lobby.

Together with LDRRMO III Administrative and Training Section Chief Eunice Ciocon, LDRRMO II Jose Evram Vera, Bureau of Fire Protection Fire Officer 1 Jose Samuel Lapus, and DRRMO Head Anna Lapornan, the seminar was also attended by barangay captains and DRRM focal persons from the city’s 61 barangays.

Furthermore, it aimed to strengthen the capability of Bacolod City towards building a disaster-resilient community, featuring topics such as Philippine National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, Colors in Disaster Preparedness and Response, and Fire Control.
