August 10, 2023- With Mayor Albee’s desire to serve all sectors, a total of 443 senior citizens aged 80 to 99 from various barangays received their centenarian pay-out during the 2nd quarter distribution at the Montevista Gym, Villamonte Gym, Sum-ag Gym and at the Bacolod City Government Center lobby today

Organized by the Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD) and with the presence of Councilor Celia Flor, this initiative aimed to honor the elderly members of the community for their valuable contributions and wisdom. Each senior citizen was handed a cash reward of PHP 10,000, acknowledging their lifelong journey and enriching the lives of those around them.

The DSSD will continue its centenarian pay-out by extending the same PHP 10,000 cash reward to bedridden senior citizens tomorrow.

As the senior citizens stand alongside their relatives, the pay-outs not only provide financial assistance but also serve as a reminder that their resilience and wisdom are cherished by the community.
