November 25, 2024- The City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) in collaboration with the Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD) held a launching activity during the flag-raising ceremony at the Bacolod City Government Center in observance of Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week.

This year’s theme, “Prioritizing Health-Based Approach in Drug Abuse Prevention and Control,” highlights global efforts to improve awareness and strategies in addressing drug abuse.

The event also supports World Drug Day, which aims to raise awareness about drug-related issues and encourage community participation in prevention initiatives.
