January 29, 2024–Bacolod’s City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) spearheaded a dynamic one-day event, “Strengthening of BADAC,” held at Nature’s Village Resort in Talisay. The session featured insightful speakers from key organizations such as DILG, PDEA, PNP, CHO, DSSD, and CADAC.

This initiative aimed to enhance the capabilities of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (BADACs) in the ongoing fight against substance abuse. Regrettably, eight BADAC Chairpersons or Representatives were unable to join the event from Barangays 15, 25, 26, 27, 30, 34, Mansilingan, and Pta Taytay.

The event served as a crucial platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration, reinforcing the commitment of barangay leaders to create drug-free and resilient neighborhoods in Bacolod.
