Under the leadership of Mayor Albee Benitez, the Bacolod City Comprehensive Health Program (BacCHP) continues to deliver on its promise of making healthcare accessible and inclusive for all Bacolodnons. This was highlighted during Mayor Albee’s Roadmap to Super City Report last November 22, 2024, at the L’Fisher Hotel.
As of November 2024, BacCHP has achieved significant milestones:
– 71,887 cards issued, ensuring beneficiaries access to essential health services.
– 10,758 patients served, with a total healthcare assistance amounting to ₱100,457,735.35.
– 267,319 registered members, a testament to the growing trust and participation of Bacolodnons in the program.
Launched in 2022, BacCHP is the city’s flagship initiative aimed at providing free and quality healthcare to the marginalized and underserved sectors.
All hospitals in Bacolod City are active partners of BacCHP, ensuring the program’s success. These include:
•Adventist Medical Center
•South Bacolod General Hospital
•Bacolod Queen of Mercy Hospital
•Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital
•Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital
•Metro Bacolod Hospital and Medical Center
•Doctor’s Hospital, Bacolod City
BacCHP’s impact reflects Mayor Benitez’s vision of building a healthier Bacolod. By combining modern technology with efficient resource allocation, the program ensures transparency, ease of access, and the prioritization of every Bacolodnon’s welfare.
The program’s continued success serves as a foundation for Bacolod’s transformation into a “super city,” where healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. BacCHP exemplifies good governance and people-centric service delivery.
