Bacolod City, October 18, 2023 – The dedicated efforts of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) under the leadership of PCol Noel Aliño have earned high praise from Mayor Albee Benitez.

This accolade comes in the wake of a significant drug bust, where the BCPO confiscated 3 kilograms and 20 grams of illegal drugs.

In a commendable operation, the BCPO apprehended Jummel Camento, known by the alias “TATA” and identified as a High-Value Individual (HVI) linked to the notorious CAUNDA Drug Group last October 17, 2023.

The seized contraband, valued at a staggering Php 20,536,000.00.

The successful operation not only signifies the BCPO’s unwavering commitment to eliminating the drug menace but also serves as a testament to the effectiveness of their strategies and the dedication of their personnel.

Mayor Albee Benitez, acknowledging the vital role played by the BCPO in making the city safer, lauded their efforts.
