August 31, 2023- Atty. Sedfrey Cabaluna, Councilor of Iloilo City, tasked by Mayor Jerry Treñas, recently embarked on a purposeful visit to Bacolod City, driven by a strong desire to enhance the urban living conditions in Iloilo.

The visit aimed at benchmarking the Bacolod Housing Authority’s commendable ordinances, policies, and implementation strategies.

This proactive effort stems from Mayor Treñas’ intention to bolster the capabilities of the Iloilo City Urban Poor Affairs Office (ICUPAO) and extend better support to informal settlers within Iloilo City.

With Mayor Albee Benitez’s successful housing practices, Iloilo City aims to build a brighter future for its urban poor population, promote sustainable growth and improve quality of life for all residents.
