August 23, 2023- With the Support of Mayor Albee Benitez, the Bacolod City Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), together with Bacolod Integrated Federation of PWD Associations (BIFPA) and Bacolod City Sectoral Affairs Office (SAO), organized an outreach program at the Bacolod Public Plaza.

This initiative aimed to support the local PWD community, as fifty-four (54) beneficiaries from eighteen barangays within the city were provided with essential mobility aids, including 18 wheelchairs, 18 crutches, and 18 quad canes.

The event featured speeches from Sectoral Affairs Head Carmeli Bantug-Zayco and PDAO Head Alma Gustilo, emphasizing the importance of such collaborative efforts in enhancing the lives of persons with disabilities and fostering inclusivity.
