August 2, 2023 – With the theme, “Harmony and COOPeration Through Friendly Competition”, the City Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office (CCLDO), together with the Bacolod City Cooperative Development Council (BCCDC), initiated the annual 5th Inter-Cooperative Bowling Tournament to establish camaraderie and strengthen relationships among the participating cooperatives today at the Lopues East Bowling Center, Bacolod City.
Graced by Councilor Thaddy Sayson who delivered an inspirational message, Project Development Officer IV and CCLDO Head Brenda C. Burdeos, Project Development Officer I Joseph Olvido, BCCDC Chairman Florence Joy Octaviano, Cooperative Development Specialist II Mary Ann V. Geocadin
Together with various participants from 15 cooperatives such as the BACGEM, BAPSTEMPCO, Negros East Transport Service Cooperative (NETSCO), and the United Negros Transport Cooperative (UNETCO), among others.
The tournament did not only serve purely as a game and recreational activity, rather it achieved its noble cause of creating a bond with each and every participant.
Moreover, the activity will continue until August 30 with the championship game on its last day and the awarding of winners during the Cooperative Month on October which will range from plaques, trophies, and a cash reward.
