July 13, 2023 – The Human Resource Management Services (HRMS) of Bacolod City organized a New Entrants Orientation for government employees, aimed at welcoming and acquainting new staff members with essential policies, codes of conduct, and benefits within the municipal organization, at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall.
A total of 72 employees participated in the informative session, which was spearheaded by City Human Resource Management Officer, Mr. Erman Aguirre.
Mr. Aguirre led the orientation by delving into crucial topics such as the Code of Conduct for government employees, the Ease of Doing Business, and the comprehensive benefits and privileges available to all city employees.
Supervising Administrative Officer Jo Anna Buyco and Human Resource Management Officer II Jan Bethel Alson also facilitated the event, providing additional valuable insights and guidance to the new hires.
The event served as an excellent opportunity for new staff members to familiarize themselves with the city’s organizational culture and gain a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities as public servants, and to ensure that all new employees are well-versed in the various policies and codes of conduct that government employees must adhere to.
By providing comprehensive guidance on these matters, HRMS aims to facilitate a smooth transition for new employees into their respective roles while promoting a unified and responsible workforce.
Moreover, the orientation session shed light on the numerous benefits and privileges available to government employees, ensuring that they are fully aware of the support and incentives offered by the municipal organization.
