June 19, 2023 – The City Planning and Development Office commenced the 8-day Community Based Monitoring System National Rollout Task Force Training for Job Orders utilized as CBMS Enumerators at the L’Fisher Hotel Bacolod.
Enumerators were trained by the Philippine Statistics Authority Senior Statistical Specialist Jerome Cadayona and Benjie Lee Serinas – Information System Analyst 1.
Graced by City Planning Development Office Department Head and CBMS Focal Person Mary Jean Ramos, Chief Executive Assistant Leah Carmela Bantug-Zayco, and Executive Assistant Nancy Descutido.
CBMS is an organized technology-based system that involves collection, processing and validation of disaggregated data, which may be used in planning, program implementation, and impact monitoring in the city.
Also it aims to empower communities to participate in the process, involving a census of households in the community to collect individual- and household-level information through face-to-face interview.
Its objective is to establish data collection, data sharing, and information management system which shall respect fundamental human right to privacy, ensure data quality, and uphold data protection; principles of legitimate purpose, transparency, and proportionality.
Also to establish CBMS database at the national and city/municipal level and generate relevant statistics at higher levels that will complement and supplement the local level data.
Training dates are from June 19 to 22 and June 26 to 27, furthermore, the trained enumerators are to be dispersed to their field assignments on July 1, 2023.
