January 31, 2025 – The City of Bacolod, through its Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD), conducted the social pension and ladderized centenarian payout today across several barangays in the city.

A total of 747 senior citizens received their Php 3,000 social pension at the Mansilingan and Alijis gyms, providing essential financial support to elderly residents in these areas. Additionally, 140 centenarians from Barangays Estefania, Mansilingan, and Barangays 16, 20, 21, and 28 were granted Php 10,000 each as part of the ladderized centenarian payout program.

Councilors Kalaw Puentevella and Celia Flor were present during the payout events, emphasizing their unwavering commitment to supporting Bacolod’s senior citizens.
