December 18, 2024 – The City of Bacolod, through its City Tourism Office, moves to enhance its city tourism through the presentation of the Tourism Development Plan (TDP) 2024-2028 and the reconstitution of the Tourism Development Council (TDC), today at the City Mayors Office, Bacolod City Government Center.

Attended by SP Chair on Tourism and Councilor Jason Villarosa, City Tourism Head Tere Manalili, City Planning and Development Office Head Mary Jean Ramos, Secretary to the Mayor Atty. Marty Go, Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) City Director Joeresty Coronica, together with various sectors, including the Tour Guides Association of Negros Occidental and Philippines and the SK Federation.

The primary objectives of the meeting is to present the Tourism Development Plan and to secure a resolution coming from the Tourism Council to recommend to the Sangguniang Panlungsod the adaption of the Tourism Development Plan. The discussion also covered the goals, mission, and the economic impact of the TDP to the city.
