December 4, 2024 – The Department of Social Welfare and Development, through the Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD), distributed financial assistance to 287 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) from 15 barangays in Bacolod City as part of its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP).

Each recipient received Php 10,000 as financial assistance to support their livelihood initiatives and improve their quality of life.

Present in the event were Mayor Albee Benitez, Councilors Celia Flor, Kalaw Puentevella, Em Ang, Jason Villarosa, Ising Salanga and DSSD Head Alma Gustilo.
