December3, 2024 – The Department of Health (DOH) recognized Bacolod City for its exceptional performance in the National Immunization Program and vaccine management through two prestigious plaques of recognition.

The awards were presented to Dr. Edwin Miraflor Medical Officer IV, Atty. Joseph Carol Chiu STTM and Paulyne Sustento Cold Chain Nurse in Charge at the City Mayor’s Office earlier today.

Bacolod City received the Plaque of Recognition for Commitment and Dedication in the Implementation of the National Immunization Program.

Additionally, Bacolod was recognized as the Highly-Urbanized City in Region VI with the Best Vaccine and Cold-Chain Management, underscoring its efficiency in maintaining vaccine integrity and ensuring public health safety.
