December 2, 2024 – The City of Bacolod, through the Bacolod City Comprehensive Health Program (BacCHP), together with the Bacolod City Health Office, SK Federation, and the Negros First Blood Bank, conducted a blood donation drive entitled, “Dugo Mo, Kaluwasan Ko: A Drop of Blood Can Save an Ocean of Lives” today at the Bacolod City Government Center Lobby.

Headed by Special Assistant to the Mayor Engr. Mae Cuaycong, the event was participated by blood donors coming from various organizations such as the BCPO, BFP, NOCPPO, and BCGC employees.

After a screening process was done, 78 qualified donors out of 181 were identified. A number of 78 blood bags were collected that will be stored at the Negros First Blood Bank.

As a sign of appreciation, the blood donors were given 5 kgs. of rice.
