Sept. 25, 2024 – Department of Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions (D-LEDIP) Head and President of the Bacolod-Negros Foundation for ICT, Dr. Mae Ferrer-Llamas, represented Bacolod City as a moderator in the panel discussion 3 of the Regional ICT Summit and Exhibitions (RISE) Region 6 last September 25, 2024 at the Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.

With the theme “Empower, Connect, Innovate: Let’s RISE 6 Promote Philippine Digital Ecosystem!”, the event of DICT aims to be a platform to showcase the potential of Western Visayas for ICT jobs, investment, and opportunities, while emphasizing the critical role of local ICT councils in building a diverse and inclusive digital ecosystem nationwide.
