The Philippine Investment Management (PHINMA) Corporation hosted a blessing and groundbreaking ceremony for the new Bacolod Township, called Saludad located in Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City, on July 19, 2024.

The ceremony opened with a welcome message from PHINMA President and CEO Raphael Felix: “It’s not just home development, we shifted into township development, why? because we believe that a Filipino deserves a better life, we believe Filipino deserves dignified life. We cannot be housing them in some place and sending them off an hour to buy groceries or two hours to work, so we decided to incorporate the essentials into dignified life and that of a home life… We’ll be changing the urban landscape here in Bacolod,” he stated.

Bacolod Township Saludad offers a fresh perspective on a better Bacolod, with its 21-hectare community designed to provide residents with a distinctive and enhanced living experience, featuring modern amenities, sustainable practices, and a deep appreciation for the city’s unique charm and rich heritage, ultimately transforming Bacolod City into a more vibrant, sustainable, and attractive place to live and work.

Vice President for Township Development Paolo Reyes, in his closing statement, said, “Well, it’s finally here, the time has finally come, and we’re starting the development of Saludad… We said that we will develop this with a vision of sustainability, openness, modern Bacolod, and heritage, we have to give honor to heritage… We’re just beginning; the real work is in front of us. I’m really confident in this project.”

With a multi-billion investment in its first township project, PHINMA is poised to significantly impact Bacolod City’s urban landscape.

Present at the event were PHINMA Property Corporation, JEPP Property Corporation, Royal Pineda Plus Architecture Design, Vice President of Hospitality of PHINMA Corporation Jose Marie Del Rosario, Bacolod City Councilor Vladimir Gonzalez, and other guests.
