With the theme, “Inasal Global”, Bacolod is once again opening this year’s 2024 Bacolod Chicken Inasal Festival. This year’s opening night ceremony was held at the North Capitol Road on May 24.

Together with Mayor Albee Benitez, who officially declared the opening of the festival, were Tourism Regional Director – Region VI Crisanta Marlene P. Rodriguez, Vice-Mayor El Cid Familiaran, Councilors Celia Flor, Israel Salanga, Cindy Rojas, Em Ang, Vladimir Gonzalez, Jason Villarosa, and Pao Sy, City Tourism Office Head Teresa Manalili, City Administrator Lucille Gelvolea, City Planning and Development Head Mary Jean Ramos, City Registrar Atty. Hermilo Paoyon, and Special Assistant to the Mayor Engr. Mae Cuaycong.

The event featured various lively activities, including the Food Tasting and Beer Pairing and also invited excellent chefs coming from Bacolod and the islands of Panay and Negros, and the Sugba Fest held at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central. Other Chicken Inasal Festival venues are in the Upper East Megaworld and SM City Bacolod, with the event coming to a close on May 26. Come and experience Bacolod’s Chicken Inasal Festival.
