January 17, 2024–The Commission on Audit (COA), led by Audit Team Leader Jane Loiue Capatar, State Auditor IV, spearheaded the Entrance Conference for Bacolod City’s 2023 Financial and Compliance Audit. This conference aimed to kickstart discussions for the upcoming audit engagement, focusing on examining the City of Bacolod’s accounts and operations throughout the calendar year 2023.

Mayor Albee Benitez, along with department heads from critical city functions, such as the Treasurer’s Office, Engineering Office, Budget, Accounting, General Services, DSSD, and Legal, actively participated in this collaborative effort, setting the foundation for a transparent and thorough audit process.
