January 4, 2024 – In response to the devastating impact of Bagyong Egay, which wreaked havoc in Bacolod City last July 25, 2023, the City Government released their financial assistance today. 29 beneficiaries, representing 16 Barangays, received payouts at the City Treasurer’s Office.

Families with totally damaged houses received Php15,000.00, while those with partially damaged houses were granted Php10,000.00 in assistance. This financial aid aims to address various needs, including housing repairs, medical expenses, and daily necessities. For recipients, this support is a crucial lifeline, providing a tangible path towards recovery.
