December 6,2023– Bacolod City achieved recognition with the Excellence in Digital Innovation Award at the GCash Digital Excellence Awards held in Makati City.

The award, presented during the third-year celebration of GDEA, acknowledges the city’s commitment to improving Filipino lives through innovative GCash-powered services.

Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, along with Councilors Cindy Tan-Rojas and Em Ang, accepted the award on behalf of Mayor Albee Benitez at the Peninsula Manila Hotel.
