
March 24, 2025 – With the theme, “The Future Unfolds”, the Province of Negros Occidental officially opens the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2025, the festival’s 29th edition, at the Panaad Park and Stadium, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
Present during the ceremony were Provincial Governor Eugenio Jose “Bong” Lacson, Provincial Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando P. Diaz, together with the Mayors and Tourism Officers of numerous local government units (LGUs) including Mayor Albee Benitez.
Additionally, the City of Bacolod officially opened its booth through a ribbon-cutting ceremony which was attended by Mayor Albee Benitez, City Tourism Head Teresa Manalili, Councilors Em Ang, Jason Villarosa, and Celia Flor. The opening also featured the performers of Bacolod City College.
The public is invited to visit the Bacolod booth wherein numerous products, performances, and displays are showcased such as the vibrant and creative floor mural by Bacolodnon artists, acoustic performances, art gallery, and products coming from various barangays.
The Panaad sa Negros Festival starts today, March 24, until March 30.
