July 19, 2024 – The Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD) has launched the 13th cycle of its Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) to support the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) initiative last July 16 and 19, 2024. This program provides extra food to children in Child Development Centers (CDCs) to improve their nutritional status.

This cycle targets 120 Child Development Centers, with a total of 3,113 children.

The program addresses child malnutrition, promoting better health and development for young children of Bacolod. By providing nutritious meals, it supports their growth and learning potential.
