May 28, 2024- The City of Bacolod commemorated Philippine National Flag Day with a special ceremony at the Bacolod City Government Center. The event was attended by Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, along with City Administrator Dr. Lucille Gelvolea, Councilor Celia Flor, Sectoral Head Ms. Carmeli Bantug-Zayco and government officials.

The Bacolod City Government Center grounds were one of the venues for the Flag Day celebration, with other locations including the Bacolod City Public Plaza, Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, and Brgy. Singcang, Old Airport.

The ceremony highlight the significance of the national symbol, fostering a sense of national identity and pride among the citizens.
