Innovation and Creative Entrepreneurship (ICE) Program for Potential Creative Cities officially launches its day 1, gathering together various stakeholders and participating cities (including Bacolod) today, November 4 at the Azalea Somerset, Makati City.
It was an eventful day, filled with activities that centered around the importance of the creative industry in the economic and local development.
Moreover, the five participating cities got to present their own creative sector, with D-LEDIP head Dr. Mae Ferrer-Llamas representing the City of Smiles.
Together with Dr. Llamas, the Bacolod team was comprised of Ms. Aisel Joyce Tupas, Dir. Tanya Lopez, Sir Julius De la Peña, and Ms. Jinky Besa.
The ICE Program for Potential Creative Cities is organized by Thames International in partnership with the DTI Philippines, aimed at empowering the creative industry and supporting cities with the potential to be recognized as a UNESCO Creative City.
The event will continue until November 5 and will have its culminating activity on November 28, 2024 at the F1 Hotel, BGC.
