November 19, 2024 – Mayor Albee Benitez welcomed student leaders at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) lobby on Monday morning as part of the Boys and Girls Week 2024 activities.

The program, organized by the Rotary Club of Bacolod in partnership with the Bacolod LGU, aims to train young leaders in public service and governance.

Libby Ponce Tangco of St. John’s Institute was chosen as Girl Mayor and will lead her peers in taking on various city government roles. The student leaders will serve at BCGC from November 18 to 22, 2024.
