December 10, 2024 – The Bacolod Health Workers (BHW) organized their Christmas Party and Health Summit at the SMX Convention Center.

Numerous city officials attended the event, including Mayor Albee Benitez, Councilors Thaddy Sayson, Cindy Rojas, Em Ang, Jason Villarosa, Simple Distrito, and Celia Flor, and BHW President Gina Torrevilla.

With over 250 attendees coming from different barangays, the event recognized the BHWs with long years of service and the best performing BHWs with Alangilan Health Station, Bata Health Station, Villamonte Health Station, and Estefania Health Station gaining the third, second, first, and Champion titles, respectively.

In his opening message, Mayor Albee Benitez recognizes the role of the BHWs as frontliners and that one of the many programs and sectors that the city prioritizes is the health sector.
