Bacolod City is set to launch the Agri-Fishery Digital Platform Program at Gaisano Grand City Central Mall Supermarket on March 13, with fresh, locally sourced produce available daily starting March 14.

Initiated by Mayor Albee Benitez, the program enhances food security while giving farmers stable livelihoods. With initial participation from three barangays (Alangilan, Sum-ag, and Cabug), the city invested in warehousing, logistics, and digital infrastructure to ensure a steady supply of goods.

Starting with 500 kg of produce weekly, the Bacolod City Agriculturist’s Office, in partnership with Agro-Digital, aims to scale up production and meet demand. Institutional buyers are encouraged to support local farmers.

This initiative highlights Bacolod’s commitment to resilient food systems and economic empowerment. Residents are invited to visit Gaisano Grand City Central Mall Supermarket from March 14 to explore fresh, affordable produce.
