Bacolod City Government Lines-Up Activities for Panaad Festival 2005
As a gesture of support, Leonardia appointed Executive Assistant Ceasar Distrito as Chairman of the Panaad Festival City Participation Committee to handle all activities of the city.
Barangay Villamonte, last year's winner in the MassKara dance parade competition open category, will be a guest performer in the Festival of Dances.
According to Distritio, Ms. Mariel Martinez Bincal, MassKara Queen 2004 first runner-up, will represent the city in the annual search for the Lin-ay sang Negros Beauty Pageant.
On the other hand, ETCS2, last years champion in the Banda rito Banda roon, and the Luis Medel National High School will compete in the Drum and Bugle Competition in the Elementary and Secondary level respectively.
The city will also participate in the different sports events like boxing, taekwondo and track and field.
The committee has auditioned several groups from which they chose participating entries for the pop dance contest.
The Bacolod booth will have a nightly program and presentation throughout the 9-day festivity of the Panaad Festival. (CMO-PIO)
