Mayor Meets Barangay Delegation from South Cotabato

    Twenty-one barangay captains from Polo Molok, South Cotabato paid Bacolod City Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia a courtesy call on the afternoon of April 4, 2005 at the Mayor's Office at City Hall.
     The group was led by Punong Bayan Ramon Londres who was also the President of the Association of Barangay Captains of Polo Molok. They are one of several groups of barangay captains from their province who are on study tours of different cities in the Philippines. This particular group had chosen to come to Bacolod. They were given a power point presentation of Mayor Leonardia's current Strategic Management Plan for Bacolod City which was of great interest to them. The presentation was done by Secretary to the Mayor Dr. Roger Balo.
     The delegation of barangay captains, who accompanied PB Londres was composed of Bai Amida Adam, Felix Bacaling, Sandy Torico, Ricardo Balabat, Jesus Montinola, Guilly Lakim, Roger Gomez, Milagros Guamen, Asgar Mangelin, Diosdado Cruz, Raul Gerada, Domingo Cordova, Roger Garmino, Emiliano Tubo, Federico Cuenca Sr., Vicente Galoyo, Roberto Jemina, Aducan Nilong, Edgardo Diazon and Asuncion Evardo.
     Mayor Leonardia welcomed the visit and said Bacolod's ties with our Muslim brothers have always been cordial and reciprocity of this sort will do much strengthen relations. (CMO-PIO)
