LEONARDIA'S INCOME GENERATION PROGRAM GRADUATES 80

     Mayor Evelio Leonardia’s Income Generation Program through the city’s Public Employment Service Office, with the cooperation of the St. Ezekiel Moreno Learning Center in Brgy. Handumanan, graduated 80 Out-of-School-Youth this month.

     36 graduated from Basic Housewiring/Electricity, 22 from Hot Kitchen Cook/Culinary Arts, and 22 from Basic Welding. Out-of-school-youth (OSY) students were given a budget of P3,000 each which covers their tuition, free tools and materials needed for their training.

     The Mayor’s income generating program for the OSY is geared towards making our youth productive members of society and also to alleviate poverty in the city by encouraging small entrepreneurs, Executive Assistant Cesar Distrito said.(CMO-PIO)
