Consultation Seminar on Fish Project Held at Pta.Taytay

     The Resources Environment and Economics Center for Studies, INC (REECS) and with the support of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) conducted the consultation seminar on the Fisheries improved for Sustainable Harvest - (FISH) Project at Barangay Punta-taytay in cooperation with the City Department of Agriculture and the Barangay Council of Punta-taytay today.
     The whole day consultation seminar gathered representatives from the local government, fishing organizations in the City and from the province of Negros Occidental as well. Panay and Iloilo delegates also came to the said activity that discussed the Registration and Licensing Framework for the Commercial Fisheries Sector.
     Executive Assistant to the Mayor Jonah Abao gave the welcoming remarks to the occasion and signified the local government support on the said activity was the highlight of the activity were the presentations of Rina Maria P. Rosales and Atty. Paz Benavidez of the REECS.
     Punong Barangay Rufino Alcala and the Barangay Council were the hosts of the said activity. (CMO-PIO/osb)
