Bacolod City College Celebrates 7th College Anniversary
The affair started with a motorcade of faculty members and students from the BAYS Center to the BCC Sum-ag Campus.
Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the school, assured students during his inspirational message that he will spare them from all the controversies involving BCC. With this pronouncement, the Mayor, with the conformity of the City Legal Officer and the Human Resources Officers, officially installed Dr. Mario Tajanlangit as the new College Administrator of BCC. He said Tajanlangit is not his personal choice but he knows that he is the right man for the job.
In his welcome address during the opening program, Dr. Mario Tajanlangit, CESO V, Bacolod City College Administrator, expressed his appreciation for the support given him by the students and the administration of Mayor Leonardia.
Other activities scheduled or February 22 are ballgames in the morning and a Search for Singing Star 2005 in the afternoon to be held at the BAYS Center.
On Wednesday, February 23, the following are scheduled: championship games and awarding ceremony will be held at the Sum-ag Gym while the culmination ceremony for the Search for Mutya ng BCC will be held in the evening at the BAYS Center (CMO/PIO/elg)
