US Invitation to Election Count

   Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia has been invited to the 2004 U.S. Presidential Election Watch to be held Wednesday. November 3, 2004,  8:00 AM - 1:00 PM in Cebu City. This invitation was sent by the Deputy Chief of Mission of the US.
     Joseph A. Mussomeli, U.S. Deputy of Mission will host an election watch in 3 cities in the Philippines: Manila, Cebu and Davao.
     Tomorrow, November 2, in the U.S.A., will be their Presidential Election day. The presidential race is between George Bush, the sitting president, and John Kerry, presidential contender.
     "I consider the invitation an honor and privileges to interact with US Embassy Officials on such an important and relevant subject matter. I hope to broaden my perspective of US and world politics and governance with this experience", Leonardia said.
     Results of the US Presidential elections will be known November 3 - Manila time.
     Others invited from the region are businessmen, government officials, private sector and NGO representatives and members of the academe.
