More Brgy Projects Rise in the City

    More infrastructure projects have mushroomed in the 61 barangays of the City since the administration of Mayor Evelio Leonardia took the helm one hundred days ago.
     In a recent report submitted by Executive Assistant Butch Soliguen, liaison/coordinator for barangay affairs, the city government has already implemented a sizeable number of projects in various barangays, and other areas in the City.
    Soliguen disclosed 14 new waiting sheds have already been constructed in different areas of the city, while more of it are expected to be put up in other areas very soon.
    The Leonardia administration has also constructed close to 5,000 meters of footwalks in various barangays, and has installed more than 50 deep wells in barangays less accessible to BACIWA water pipelines.
     Soliguen’s report also cited other projects in the barangays accomplished by the Public Affairs and Assistance Division (PAAD), such as the regular tree planting activities in Barangays Mansilingan and Estefania, and the shoreline clean-up drive in Barangay 2.
     As of October, more projects have been endorsed to the City Engineer’s Office for immediate implementation. *(CMO-PIO/jmi)
